Hotel was sadly run as BnB during our stay in March. Fitness facilities only average. Location top, rooms clean, staff super friendly. Would I come again: YES

The staff were great and breakfast was wonderful. We really enjoyed the hot tub. Bathroom super too.

Bed was hard and pillows flats. But did get used to them.

The distance to the nearest lifts made it worth while.

Excellent location, very friendly staff. And we liked the soft drink selection in the fridge in the room. Also several nice restaurants within walking distance.

Hotel interior was a bit worn out and the breakfast was rather plain unless you wanted items loaded up with sugar. The boot storage in the ski room should have been heated to allow boots to dry. The "spa" was not that inviting either. It would have been great if the hotel bar would have been open on the winter season too.

Friendly staff and good value for money.

Easy access to the lifts, friendly, nice and helpful staff, specially 'Luca' and 'Elena' at the reception and the lovely lady who served us breakfast.

The rooms at the back of the property (including ours) were facing brick walls. Breakfast was simple but adquate.

What was the highlight of Hotel Cristallo

Excellent location and value for money if you are there to ski/snowboard

We arrived around 3 1/2 hours before check-in but were able to leave our bags and were also served fresh coffee. The room we were allocated was not as we had expected and much smaller with a fold-out camp bed which was really not suitable for a 3rd adult. I highlighted this to Elena on reception and she explained there was no other availability. We agreed to accept the room but explained we were not happy as it was not as per the pictures or terms booked. We were able to check-in around and hour before official check-in. The next morning at breakfast, Elena approached me and said she had an alternative room available, did we want to see it. This alternative room was much bigger and the third bed was a proper single bed in a 'partitioned' area of the main room. This was much more suitable for our needs so we moved rooms straight away. Elena was very helpful and friendly. The lady who served breakfast every morning was also very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was continental style with the option of boiled eggs. There was a wide variety of fresh pastries and cakes, toast, pancakes, jams and spreads, yoghurt, cereal, cold meats and cheeses, a variety of fruit juice and if you didn't want the tea or coffee in flasks you can also get espresso cappuccino etc. We left very early on our departure day and the breakfast lady and chef gave us some pastries to take away. The location is perfect - a walk across the road and you are on the fast 6 man chair lift. We didn't use the hotel 'ski locker' as it was just really a room with no proper lockers or security so we used the Rent & Go locker facility below the main lift pass office. For 3 boot & ski lockers it was 75 euros for the week. If you are using your room for sleeping in only and your main interest is snowsports this hotel is ideal.

The hotel is very warm and when we came off the mountain we tended to open the large window that went onto the balcony for fresh air and to let some heat out. We also turned off the radiator in the bathroom. The bar was closed and it would have been nice to be able to have a drink at the end of the day in the hotel bar, instead of our room.

The beds were like rocks as were the pillows.

Excellent location with spacious room, friendly staff and satisfactory breakfast.

Hotel is faded and dated and in need of refurbishment. The room was too warm and we were unable to control the temperature.

Good

Location was superb. Rooms were decent enough although couldn't be described as luxury. Breakfast was good but no hot food.

The bar was not open and we asked to use the actual room socially and were refused so nowhere to meet up and hang out in the hotel.
